Enhanced Grid View 2.0

I don't understand. How to install? I drag&drop, it installs successfully, but only change is colors.

Never mind, after messing around with settings figured it out. I'm used to theme posts including screenshots of their settings. Theme is really good! I like! Big Grin

Hello! First off, wanted to say thanks for the quality theme, it took an already great program and makes it look even sharper. I do have one (possibly stupid) question. After installing the theme, I noticed that the game icon is being displayed in the lower left corner of the game cover art on the grid view. This wasn't there with the default skin, and when I switched back they were gone. Is this a setting I need to toggle off?

UPDATE:
Answered my own question! Under Settings/Details View uncheck "Show Game Icons on Details view list" and they disappear. Ignore me!

I gave a try to those themes, and I wasn't a fan of the "info" panel on the right, I was more pleased by the bigger space available in grid view, but now I feel pretty comfortable to have a friendly interface allowing anybody to have a cute information on screen while I stream.

Those especially drew my attention :
- Default (because we can roll back to it if we're tired of other versions)
- Classic (the grey is pretty neat and reminds me of Steam's UI)
- Dark (the dark is not too ugly while giving an oldschool touch, and the gradient in the top-right corner brings a modern aspect)
- Enigmatis (a purple / twich-like style wich reminds me the "Blupur" theme).

The Dark one is actually my favorite : it's immersive, the UI fades into the background and is forgotten while thumbnails are more visible, and the grey of the scrollbar and some other few elements is pleasant.

I just noticed those icons : I don't remember that it was there just after installing the theme, so I guess it's a kind of bug.
The problem is that unchecking the option you mentioned leads to hidding icons in "Details" view, wich is unexpected.
I think that the theme triggers a conflict between the "Grid" view and the "Details" view, regarding to that option.

I set up the theme to show icons on cover art using the Show Game Icons in Details View list in order to show library or platform icons if a user wished. The theme is using the Details View settings for grid view detail settings so one does effect the other. Switching between views using my theme can have unexpected results.

Hey, I really liked this theme and I started using it. But im more of a white theme myself since my eyes get tired when reading in dark mode. Would it be possible to have a white version? Thanks again for this great theme.

You can use ThemeModifier to alter the colors of my theme. Since that extension was made I have no plans to make any other color variations.

Heya,

after a long time, I have reinstalled this theme on my second pc to try out. Is there a problem with custom theme integration for successtory etc in grid view? seems to work in Details view.

The grid view is mostly a straight copy of the details view code, so treat any extensions as being used with the default theme instead of a custom theme.

That is what i thought, didnt use custom integration at first. As it happened in the past, it just started working after a while.

Hi, I love the theme, except for a very minor pet peeve I have with it: I really dislike the info button, especially because when clicking on the game art it opens the game's detail panel - I went to the XAML file and removed it, which worked fine until I had to close the details panel and couldn't open it again. Is there a way to make clicking on the game art open the details panel? Another solution would be to throw the info button to the top right in very small size, I tried to do it but couldn't get it right. Any help would be appreciated, but either way congrats on the theme.

Just a quick question. Is there a way to remove the "more" button, and move the successtory button there via the code?
I am not too good in finding these things, and would make it better for me!
Can anyone assist?

I tried various layouts and ended up with the current one based on what worked with the most user options and what was possible with the limitations of the code and/or my understanding of it.

You'd have to program in success story using custom code in order to properly move it. That's it default location without custom code, and since I wanted my theme as close to default as possible for compatibility with multiple user preferences I never really looked into the custom coding part of success story.

I added the file "Enhanced Grid View for V9.pthm" to the download list. This is version 2.1.3 and is ONLY for Playnite 9 Beta testing purposes. For now it will only be available in the default color scheme while I test how the evolving beta works with this theme.

I was told that the file I upload was giving an error. I repackaged the file and that should hopefully clear up any problems. It seems my computer was having a mental break around the time I was packaging and uploading the original file.

The test version of this theme for Playnite 9 Beta has been updated to fix a layout problem along the left side of details panel. It also fixes a problem causing completion status to be blank.

hi man! your theme is the best theme i have ever used. but sadly in playnite 9 the extinsions such as background changer , How Long To Beat , Game activity...etc are incompatible with the theme, coukd you please fix that?

And there's the answer to why they aren't working.

Unfortunately I'm on call 24 hours a day, 6 days a week with work, so I doubt I'll put forth the effort to support add-ons.
