I've been using 1.0 since you released it as my daily theme and I'm digging a lot of the changes in 2.0. I absolutely love that the Filters menus no longer shrinks the game selection window. I can finally use a large amount of columns and it won't shift to a double row when I open the filter menu. However, I was wondering what led to the decision to use fullscreen background images rather than Steam's hero banners? It was one of the unique aspects of your theme and I really enjoyed the clean look of the game information text against a solid background.
Edit: I've made some small alterations to the Details page. I replaced Publisher with Genre, replaced Age Rating with Average Time to Finish (data pulled from HowLongToBeat), and added Completion Status to the top row. Additionally I removed the Game's Name from the top left corner. It's nice to have for games without logos but I didn't like how it looked with the logo next to it. I'm guessing this can't be handled dynamically. The first two are personal choices but I think the Completion Status looks good next to the Time Played. I just need to figure out the call to format it properly (currently it's displaying the raw variable). I also tried to resize the whole grid and restore the Hero banner across the top but I've run out of time to get that done. Hopefully I'll have another screenshot later this week with that finished.
Well, that's pretty cool ! I personally don't see the point of displaing how long is a game, but alright. Also I tried to show the completion status, but as you mentioned, it is not formatted, and it also seems that the text stays in english no matter what. No way I'm leaving it like that.
As for the change from steam banners to fullscreen background, I found out that not everyone is using steam heroes, and in my Steamnite theme, as of v2.2, 16:9 display properly, and they can be used in both desktop and fullscreen themes. So I decided to use them. Ah, and not everyone use Steamnite, or only use the fullscreen part of Playnite.

I like Time to Finish because it lets me know how much time I'm required to invest before starting something new. As for Completion Status, Crow just informed me that the converter required is 'ObjectToStringConverter' but it's going to be English only unless Crow adds language support for the various statuses.
Thanks for the clarification on the background image. It's a bit of a bummer but I figured I was in the minority given the popularity of fullscreen backgrounds in other themes. I'll just keep working on a personal fork for Heroes. Thanks again for this theme. I really liked 1.0 but 2.0 is pretty close to a perfect theme, for me anyways.

How can I deactivate the display of the icons of the games and put the cover of these?

I posted two issues to your GitHub page, lemme know if you need any clarification on either (I can provide footage if needed). One is about the cursor placement after leaving a game's Details page and the other is a bug with closing the Filters menu.

How would you edit the theme? I was following playnite's tutorial but I don't see any .sln files.

The two main ones that you'll probably be looking at is GameDetails.xaml and Main.xaml.

Hey, I just wanted to ask, what did you use to make the cursor "frame" pulse on the selected game?
I would like to do the same on the default theme

I used this code on buttons that needed, so for example, Button.xaml. Put it right after the last </Trigger>.
<EventTrigger RoutedEvent="Button.Loaded"> <BeginStoryboard> <Storyboard RepeatBehavior="Forever"> <ColorAnimation From="#137bc1" To="#FF93FAF7" Storyboard.TargetProperty="(Button.BorderBrush).(SolidColorBrush.Color)" Storyboard.TargetName="BorderFocus" Duration="0:0:0.55" AutoReverse="True"/> </Storyboard> </BeginStoryboard> </EventTrigger>

Well, here's the thing : the Live Preview is only useful if you got the whole project, meaning the sln file. I just added it to the source code if you need it.
But you can using any text editor like Visual Studio code or Notepad++ to modify part of the theme with the XAML files, no need to use the bulky live preview.

Edit: You might need to upload the entire project folder separately, it gives you an error that files are missing when you load the SLN.

I personally think they look much better and cleaner than full screen art. And plus arcade marquees are a much better fit for a hero banner format.

I might do a proper fork one day but the change from fullscreen to hero is only changing two lines of code. Go to C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\Playnite\Themes\Fullscreen\SwitchNite_[alphanumeric string]\Views and open GameDetails.xaml in Notepad then just change these two lines to match the image. These lines can be found right at the top of the text.
