Every time I have to reinstall playnite, I the data gets more or less lost or broken

I usually don't keep the library by itself and let Playnite scan through my collection after setting up addons, metadata. Afterwards, I usually copy the ExtensionsData from some select plugins back (GameActivity included), but the playing time is no longer associated with games per se, just present without the game names which have been the time recorded for.

Reason for rebuilding the library data is getting other extensions to behave (in this case, it was CheckDLC -- my guess of its problems of ignoring libraries and games are connection problems after which the extensions just skips over in re-runs and not trying again after exceptions).

This is also the reason why a full export and (more important) a full import of game activity time would be great.

Is it possible to view the total time played during a day/week/month split up for each individual game? I'd like to be able to see how long I played each game compared to other games for each day/week/month.

Hi, I have a little issu with GameActivity. I am playing Fallout 4, and i don't know why when i look the Time Session on the tab, it is stuck at the 3 february. Everything is recorded, in the others menus, it's ok, but not in that tab.

The path mentioned in the log doesn't exist.

I am not sure, what that toggle actually does, but I experience the same behaviour as you.

Truncate time data by default has to be deactivated in order to display the correct data for me.

I have a problem with the extension lately
It is not showing 2 different sessions of the same game and only shows last session taken here it is more obvious on screenshots
focus on origins ragnarok online you will find only session of 3 seconds, but if I opened the game activity from the game it self it shows all sessions
I don't remember it being like that the day I installed, I also tried uninstalling and didn't work

Hello, for the most part the extension is working great, so thank you very much for your work! I am however running into a couple weird issues that have persisted since even before the most recent update. I hope you may be able to provide some help.



Just a couple things mainly

1. First run and attempt to log a games activity, specifically the hardware usage side of things, all sensors are set up and applicable programs running. In this case that is RTSS and HWinfo. I will play the game for X amount of time, longer than the log requirement, upon leaving the game and checking the games activity and accurate time log will show up but no hardware info. After second launch and subsequent closing of the game after logging time, this sessions hardware activity will be logged to the, originally devoid of info, log of the first run. The times and everything match up to the second playtime but for some reason it gets assigned to the first. This will be the pattern for every future session as well, the new activity will be written on the previous chart.        
   
2. This one is more of a cosmetic thing than functional as leaving the page and coming back resets it. In the GameActivity sidebar page when looking at the chart of game specific activity in the bottom right when I click the "eye" button to show system specs. I can repeatedly press it and the chart will get ever taller.

Hello, i updated Playnite to 9.18 and GameActivity to 2.8.1 and since the update GameActivity always crashes.
Is there something broken in the updates ? Do you need any logs form Playnite or the extension ?

I get this error message almost every time I start playnite:



Playnite never crashed, I just don't close it when I shut down my PC. I can click it and add the playtime from the last session without issue, but maybe there is a bigger issue? Or should I just ignore it? It happens only for this game and I added it by dragging the exe in playnite. (The EFT addon didn't work for me)

GameActivity 3.0 makes Playnite 10.3 crash at start. The only solution I found so far is to delete GameActivity folder.

edit : My bad this was this morning same error, but update 3.0.1 fix the issue, nice job
