Anyone has an idea on how to play Valorant while using Playnite?

Drag and drop Valorant's desktop shortcut into Playnite's Window if you are having issues configuring it manually.

So the configuration is not 100% straightforward. I had to add Valorant via shortcut (or just add a game), and add as the exectuable the path to the Riot launcher : C:\Program Files (x86)\Riot Games\Riot Client\RiotClientServices.exe, THEN add as launch arguments : " --launch-product=valorant --launch-patchline=live".
