Looking forward to the new version. ![]() RE: Playnite 8 now available to patrons - SeeDborg - 09-30-2020 I'm so glad I can test it. I have a bug though : every of my games now appears 2 or more times in my library, is it a know issue ? For example : https://i.imgur.com/hR6CiOB.png Even stranger : in fullscreen mode, the games only appear once ! RE: Playnite 8 now available to patrons - Crow - 09-30-2020 Probably this issue (not new in Playnite 8): https://github.com/JosefNemec/Playnite/issues/1929 Or you have grouping enabled, but we currently don't separate groups on Grid view (also not new in Playnite 8). RE: Playnite 8 now available to patrons - SeeDborg - 09-30-2020 Indeed, grouping activated automatically when I updated to v8... Thanks ! RE: Playnite 8 now available to patrons - Mellified - 10-04-2020 Unfortunately PlayStation library support appears to be broken for me. I submitted the details via GitHub here. Basically, Playnite isn't storing the authenticated session for some reason - possibly due to multifactor authentication being enabled on the PSN account. Given Sony's poor track record with data security I don't think it's reasonable to disable MFA. I do hope Playnite can resolve this. RE: Playnite 8 now available to patrons - steve-o - 10-04-2020 Very exciting! Sounds like there's a lot of neat improvements and bug fixes in this release! I'm really looking forward to playing with it. > Images in description field don't fit properly (by darklinkpower) Always gives me warm fuzzy feeling to see plugins become part of the main code. This being a great example - it's such a samll thing, but so essential to navigating my games that I have a hard time remembering my life without it. RE: Playnite 8 now available to patrons - Mellified - 10-10-2020 PlayStation recently changed their authentication API. Look for Playnite 8.1 to solve it. RE: Playnite 8 now available to patrons - Crow - 10-11-2020 I've already fixed the PSN plugin, the fix will be in 8.1. Is there a way to play them on PC? Or install Playnite on playstation? Is there a way to play them on PC? Or install Playnite on playstation? You can use Remote Play to stream PS4 and PS5 gameplay to a PC, but Playnite can’t launch the games that way. It is more for keeping track of your complete library of games. No sense buying a game on PC if you already own it for PS4 most of the time. |
