Mednafen's console/game-specific configuration settings in Playnite - Foron - 10-11-2020
How do I configure Playnite to run platform/game-specific commands like MedGui can? Do I copy the commands over to a box in Playnite, or do I direct Playnite to open a file?
To be more specific, I want Playnite to read my old psx.cfg file from when I tried out MedGui months ago and give me those same settings.

I don't use Mednafen, but all emulator configurations are done from Library->Configure Emulator window. My guess is that you will need to pass necessary configuration via profile arguments.

By default, Mednafen doesn't come with a GUI. You have to launch it using commandline stuff. There should be an offline manual that came with the emulator download that tells you all the switches and things you need to put in. There's also YouTube tutorials too.
It's not the most easy to use emulator, but it's said to be one of the best and is the only emulator for some systems.
