Theme installation issue - SuaveDonut - 10-17-2020
Anytime I try to install a theme it asks me to restart Playnite to finish installation but when it restarts the theme isn't there.
All themes I've tried have been updated for 8.x.
Any solutions on this?

Go to "About Playnite" menu and generate diagnostics package for me, thanks. I just tried it with couple themes and I can't reproduce it on my system.

Theme you are trying to install was not properly updated to support Playnite 8, it's missing an ID field in manifest.
Btw you also have a lot of damaged game files in your library. Can you upload "C:\Users\unbou\AppData\Roaming\Playnite\library\games\0134c117-5b42-4e55-9e58-850da6232f7e.json"?

Hi I'm also experiencing the same issue with multiple themes.
is their something we can do to fix this or is it on the theme creators side?

Theme creators need to update theme manifest, specifically add Id field as noted in the changelog for Playnite 8: https://github.com/JosefNemec/Playnite/issues/1259#issuecomment-700617985
