8.4 update is available - Crow - 10-27-2020
Note: Custom themes may need to be updated to support UI changes/fixes.
New:
- Option to select/deselect all items in various import lists
- Window inactivity indicator doesn't work properly for extension windows
- Reliability fixes to Origin game startup and install state detection
- Network issues when TLS 1.3 is force enabled system wide
- Deadlock after exiting Itch game
- Additional game actions are not available in Fullscreen mode

So I should only update to 8.4 when used custom theme is updated?

You can safely update even if the theme was not updated. But new changes/fixes (tied to a theme) might not work with a theme depending on what that theme changes. For example, you will not be able to start other game actions in Fullscreen mode if a theme modifies game menu.
