Install the DKG Theme Modifier and the turn off the theme intro.

Ty for your reply! I found that whenever I install DKG Theme Modifer, playnite loads so much longer in both desktop and fullscreen mode at first so I didn't want to install it. Is there any manual way to turn off the theme intro? Sorry for bothering you

The DKG for me also takes time to start in full screen mode, the way I managed to get around this was disabling it, when disabling it is quick to start in full screen mode and it keeps working even disabled.

It's probably taking long because it's checking for updates. Turn off check for updates and it should be a lot quicker.

I disabled the DKG updates and unfortunately it's still slow, I tried to disable the theme updates as well and it's also still slow when entering full screen, the only way I found was disabling the DKG, but that doesn't stop it working.

OK the issue here is with Playnite. The list doesn't always update correctly when coming back from a game. It will be fixed in Playnite 9 and sort this issue. In the meantime you can change to favourites and then back to recently played to force an update on the list. Just press RB and then LB on an Xbox controller, or F3 and then F2 on keyboard as a quick way to switch between favourites and recently played and force the update on the list.

Hi i was wondering if the creator could do something using the ps app because in windows 11 we will be able to use android apps and if the amazon store add the ps app of if someone upload the app to the amazon store we could actually chat with ps5ish ui if we have a friend that have a ps4 or ps4 so we could chat with ps user by using the ps5ish theme
and we could also make a complete ps5 ui by adding a fake ps store with ps app just to make it more immersive idk if someone can do that

There are already the things you ask, for the sound for each game silgolo there is an extension, but the game music goes simultaneously with the background music of the theme, this will be solved in playnite 9, for the image at the starting a game there is already an extension, but remember to remove the default game splash screen otherwise the effect is ugly
