Feature request - Switch to fullscreen when in 'Tablet Mode' - TomWheeler - 07-28-2021 I use Playlink not only on my desktop, but also on my older Windows Detachable. A Surface clone, you know what I mean. Small touchscreen casual games, in bed still remote play from desktop and so on. With Steam, the lack of consideration for modes in Microsoft Windows is still a bigger problem, especially regarding downloads if on mobile network, but also the limited touchscreen support. Now Playnite in 'desktop mode' already runs much better with a touchscreen than Steam does. Still, I'd be happy if it automatically switched to fullscreen layout here, like in the browser, when the keyboard is removed. Would it be complicated to implement that? Especially with the upcoming support for Android apps in the upcoming Windows 11, I would also predict a higher demand here. RE: Feature request - Switch to fullscreen when in 'Tablet Mode' - Crow - 07-29-2021 The only difficult part here would be detecting when the keyboard is removed, I have no idea how that works. If it means detecting when Windows switched to "Tabled" mode, then that should be easy. The Start menu turns to full scren, Firefox and others then automatically switch to larger buttons and/or spacing - here it would be great if Playlink's fullscreen mode automatically switched on. |
