While this list is nice to just easily browse what's available, I couldn't actually get it to work. When I would click on Download for an add-on, Playnite would just hang/freeze indefinitely and I would need to use Task Manager to shut it down. I tried using the Download functionality in this list both where Playnite was already open and when it was closed, both with the same result .

Then you have some network issue. Latest Playnite update will prevent complete freeze and allow you to cancel, but it will not solve the root issue you are having.
