I was sure I wasn't on the beta channel! Just unsure about whether it was a typo or an actual newer update. Also wanted to let you know that for whatever reason, the auto-updater does not show 8.10 as the current version when prompting to update -- it installs 8.10 correctly, but it says (incorrectly) that it's updating to 8.9, and it shows only up to the 8.9 changelog. (Since that's basically a cosmetic issue, it seems too minor to make a ticket for.)
