I use Playlink not only on my desktop, but also on my older Windows Detachable. A Surface clone, you know what I mean. Small touchscreen casual games, in bed still remote play from desktop and so on.
With Steam, the lack of consideration for modes in Microsoft Windows is still a bigger problem, especially regarding downloads if on mobile network, but also the limited touchscreen support. Now Playnite in 'desktop mode' already runs much better with a touchscreen than Steam does. Still, I'd be happy if it automatically switched to fullscreen layout here, like in the browser, when the keyboard is removed.
Would it be complicated to implement that? Especially with the upcoming support for Android apps in the upcoming Windows 11, I would also predict a higher demand here.
