Universal metadata Steam source

This is a plugin that gives you an option to download game information from Steam store even for games that are not imported from Steam.

When downloading metadata while editing the game, it will give you an option to specifically choose what store page to use as metadata source. When downloading metdata in bulk, it will try and match games automatically (it's not and can't be 100% accurate).

Wow!  Thank you so much for this!  

I have many games that I haven't even played yet, and it bothered me that for the non-steam games there was little to no info about them - so I forget what they are even about or if I'm interested in playing them at that moment.. This will be perfect!

Does this add Steam as a metadata source in Options menu so that it could be set as default metadata source?  If not, feature request

Hmm, I see the extension appear under extensions and have restarted playnite, but I still don't see the option under download metadata. I only get official store, Wikipedia, and IGDB. Any idea what I might be doing wrong?

Can you go to "About Playnite" menu and generate diagnostics package for me?

Are you sure you extracted plugin archive to correct folder (and that all files were extracted properly)? Plugin fails to load because of generic "file not found" error (sadly I don't know which file). The same goes to "Store SpooferSystem" plugin you have installed (btw you have two different installations there for some reason).

Hmm, no luck. I removed and re-added it, and same thing - it appears as an extension, but when I go to download metadata, I don't see the option for it. I even tried downloading a separate portable playnite and unzipping it to the extension folder - no dice.

- Steam client connection being open even if not necessary
