Hi!
Is someone having this issue lately? It used to update nicely on every time I opened playnite but since some weeks it is not working anymore. Not sure it has to do with the changes Sony is doing with PSN. Someone else having this issue?

Hi,
I haven't noticed any problems, I've played some games last week, and it's updating nicely.
Make sure you have all the options set correctly and try to re-authenticate.

Thanks! I tried re-authenticating, but it is not importing the data, it is super weird Sad

I tried also to uninstall the extension, remove the associated folders from %userprofile%/appdata/roaming but no dice. Is there any other debug I can try? I have the same options selected as in your screenshot and the user is marked as authenticated.

Actually, I see this in the extensions logs. That's not my user path, so no idea where is getting it from.

I'll try to get a clean env running on my end (remove folders etc.) and see if I can reproduce, I'll let you know, hopefully will have time in a couple of hours.

I've gone ahead and setup fully new Playnite Portable install, I have 2FA, even didn't checkmark the 'trust this browser', everything seems to be in order.

From looking at your error log, code fails when checking for the existence of <library>\ExtensionsData\e4ac81cb-1b1a-4ec9-8639-9a9633989a71\token.json file. The file is either not there, there are some permission issues with the file, or the file is in use/blocked by some other process. I've been hinted that it might also be a problem with path being over 260 characters, for which I'd have to do a fix. The paths in the error log are actually mine, cause those are saved when the code is compiled, but that's normal.

I've prepared a plugin version (attached to this post) with some more targetted debug information you can try before setting up the new instance, it will show what the plugin code 'sees' inside the ExtensionsData folder, like this:

You also can try setting up a clean portable Playnite install in a folder you have 100% rights on (like Downloads), setting up PSN extension there and trying to synchronize? The Portable Playnite instance will write everything to one folder, so it won't mess up your current installation.

Hi Xenor, never mind. It is an issue with PSN. Nothing to do with playnite. I just logged into my PSN account, and the last played time is identical to the one in playnite, so it is pulling the data just fine.

I will try to unlink / link my psn account in the PS5 and see if that helps, otherwise that's something for sony to figure out. Worst case, I'll drop them an email.

PS: I would like to remove the poll but no idea how to do that. Don't want to confuse people  Sad

If this helps more people, it is a know issue with PSN network. I noted that in my recently played games there was no entries for any new game I launched after the last one. I launched the last game in the list that was stuck , played a bit, and all the other started to update as well. Note that this won't track the time you lost in between, but at least unblocks the situation.
