Enhanced Grid View 2.0

Enhanced Grid View is a theme that allows customization of the details panel in grid view. Any settings that effects the Details View window will also effect the details view panel of the Grid View window. Also, any extensions that effect the Details View Window will also effect the details view panel (for example, SuccessStory).

A couple notes about this theme:

Since the details panel is now 2 columns it is advised to increase its width (screenshots are at 1024).
Icons can be displayed in lower left of cover images using option "Show game icons on Details view list".
This theme is for Playnite 9. (screenshots are from older version)

Thanks for this, your theme helped me figure out a good way to use the platform icons as banners on my theme.

I noticed successtory added the option to add a progress button in the integration, is it possible to have this in the grid view details in your theme aswell?

Right now the progress bar only shows when using the option "integration with toggle button" for detail view. It's not available for the custom theme integration I'm having to use for my theme.

With next version, it will possible to add a custom button that call SuccessStory view.
As it's possible with HowLongToBeat plugin.
And it will possible to use DynamicResource of plugin to create a button like I do it (with progressbar).
You must be patient.

Seriously love this theme!!! Would there be any potential for more graphical tweaks to be implemented in the future? I usually stick to darker themes so while I love the layout, the default flat grey is something I'd like more wiggle room with.

I'm happy you enjoy the theme. You caught me when I was preparing some alternate colors for upload, hope one of them is to your liking.

This looks cool! Would it be possible to set platform banner icons on this theme? Currently using kersalmassive's XBOX One Library theme and I'm wondering if it's possible to just set the icons to be Platform and have it work? Or do I need to do more tweaks myself?

The icons can be set to platform, but they're configured to be a max size of 32x32. Probably the best way to accomplish what you want is to take the /views/GridViewGameOverview.xaml out of my theme use it to replace the one in XBOX One Library theme.

Hello! Very good theme, looking for theme like this with hero art in detail info panel.
But, is there any way bring back close button for info panel, or maybe you make some option. Really needed accurate close button!

I've done some experimenting and found a placement for the close button that works with the theme styling I'm trying to create. The close button will be re-added on my next update (can't give an exact time-frame at the moment).

OK, thank you will be wait next update! Im return close button myself, but i dont really like result like it shows. Button have whole line in the info panel right above hero art. Looks bad.
Want take a look that you have done!

The alts are incredible Big Grin

!!! Really love them and this'll be my main theme from now on prolly. If you ever find yourself in the mood to make more some in a purple or magenta colour scheme might be nice, these are perfect as is tho!

I've just upgraded this theme to 2.0 . The biggest change is now that any settings or enhancements that effects the details window will now also effect the details panel. Unfortunately the single column option is not available. I'm still trying to see if I can get things to work properly with single instead of double columns, but things aren't working out.

I forgot to add in the ability to show library/game icons on the cover images. That has been re-added, and toggleable in newest update.

It works flawlessly and getting so close to what I wanted my setup to be when i first downloaded Playnite. Thanks for making it happen.
Maybe something very minor (but I am clueless and dont know how to edit it myself).
The only thing that I dont need is the edit button that apears when i hover over the "play" and "more" buttons for example. Is there a way to remove this? As there is an edit option under the 'more' button anyway, and it keeps on appearing.
