So.. you don't need to actually make square covers. Just set your aspect ratio to 4:5, your stretch mode to fill, and the theme to left banners. The banner squares off the icon. Now if we could just get this working in the fullscreen theme.

Yes that is another option but the stretched artwork wont be ideal for those with OCD

I'm sure someone could figure out the ratio so they aren't stretched. With the banner, even unstretched they are more square then normal ones

Hi, I think there is, I can feel a small bit of lag when using the shadows compared to no shadows. Not sure of the impact overall though

Awesome work on this one.  Been looking for a banner or at least a plateform indicator and glad it's possible.  Is there any development in progress on the full screen one which would display the banners?  I've got the latest Xbox one and Xbox Series S themes, but none seems to be able to display them at this point.  I'm assuming the one displayed here is a different build?  In any case, keep up the great work.  This is really coming along very well!   Thank you so much for doing this.

I made a Photoshop preset for this theme. It's a square but it's made to be used both in 1:1 or in 4:5 ratio.
For example :

Square with 1:1 ratio and banner on top :


4:5 ratio with banner on side :

(these are the same pictures)

I attach the PSD file to my post. I made more than 600 covers with it !
