A little bit back I had started swapping covers of my PC games to DVD-style aspect ratios instead of steam banner styles. I only got 3 games in and put it aside.
Those 3 games now are somehow corrupted and locked from edits.
They show the Playnite icon, but the "cover" and "icon" in Media details show a 0x0 px image and no actual image displayed.
Any changes to the images or content of the game's data are reflected until the program is closed and re-launched, at which point they totally revert. Even attempting to remove the game only works until Playnite is relaunched. They come back immediately, even before the import process can start.
I'm pretty technically sound, so any advice on where to go, file to edit in the background to manually fix this would be appreciated. If you need anything else from me to diagnose I am happy to provide it.
EDIT: Fixed. Figures, weeks of beating my head against it I solve it 30 minutes after asking for help. Found and removed the entries in the library/games folder. Added clean on next import. Had to do with OneDrive duplicating files when syncing my library between two devices. It would be nice if launching PlayNite didn't make OneDrive think that every single file in the Library folder needed to re-sync on close.
