What is the plugin?
It's basically a plugin to add "virtual games" so you can add for example games for platforms that do not automatically import. Lets say your nintendo switch games, or your old console games.

It can also be used to create a list of xbox game pass, Ea Play games etc inside Playnite

This will be great for someone who has a list of games that they want to add to Playnite to able to see them all there - maybe physical games you own or from platforms which Playnite currently doesn’t have integrations for, like Switch or IOS.

For me though, I like to have Xbox game pass and EA Play games showing in Playnite even when they aren’t installed, just so I can see all the options when deciding what game to play next. Importing them and adding the new games each month was previously a real struggle and this will make it so much easier.

For anyone else interested in doing this, I’ll shortly post a list of games on Game Pass, EA Play, Ubisoft + and Stadia that you can simply copy and paste into the extension (and therefore Playnite)

Edit 21/03/2021: I have removed the last updated date from this post as I have added it to the pages on Pastebin. I am keeping these up to date and recently had to make a lot of changes as EA removed quite a lot of games from EA Play Basic, or moved them to EA Play Pro.

Great plugin, this is almost what I was looking for. What would be even better for me is a plugin that scans for game title folders within a folder.

If the folder structure looks like this

\Games\game1\
\Games\game2\
\Games\game3\
etc...

Then each folder name should be added as a separate game. I wanna use Playnite as a catalog for games that I haven't installed yet and I would love to see a plugin like that.

Wow, thank you for this! This is exactly what I needed.
(Although truth be told, I wish you had made this a few months earlier before I used another method to add games I haven't installed yet, making Playnite function as a catalogue).

Sorry for double post, but I have a possible solution to help you out. Prior to this plug in, I had to make dummy folders with dummy exe files containing the name of the game and import them into playnite. This way, I could make it function as a catalogue for any digital  or physical games I have. In my search, I came across something that might help you (don't remember source to give credit, sorry).

Go into the folder that contains your games folders (e.g., "Games" as per your example above) and press "Shift" + "Right click mouse" in the folder and select "open PowerShell window here". Then, paste the following command (without quotations): "cmd /c dir /b > filelist.txt" and press "Enter".

This will generate a text file called "filelist.txt" that contains names of all the folders (or programs/documents/etc.) that are located in this folder. (It will also list filelist.txt as one of the items, so make sure to delete it). You can then copy and paste the list into this plug in and have it generate the list of your uninstalled games.

@ joyrider3774
Thank you for your extension!
It helped me a lot to import my Mobile Games from the Google Playstore into Playnite.
I will only have to add a few of the icons quickly and to edit a field here and there and then it is perfect.
