Having a small issue on 21:9 where the dark overlay cuts off at the edge.

I've sorted the issue and it will be fixed in the next release, I've also decided to add an option in the PS5ish Modifier for 21:9 so that the all games grid view will cover the whole screen rather than just a 16:9 area to the left. Hopefully have the release of both out in a few days.

great update , with every improvement the the differences between the ps5 and your theme are getting smaller and smaller .

for anyone with a ps4/ps5 controller and using ds4win use a macro for ps button to make it open the launcher for lazy couch players like me hhhh

You'll have to wait until Playnite 9, at the moment Toggle buttons which is what I use there only react to controller input. They will work with both keyboard and controller in Playnite 9.

 It's an issue with anything that isn't square covers. I will look into fixing it but it will require a lot of code so it will take time.

It's the category not the platform. That way anyone can set the name to what they want.

I have a problem with your themes, I noticed that if I install PS5ish_Modifier_2_3_0 or all the other Modifuer of the other themes, playnite drastically slows down at startup, both in desktop and full screen mode, uninstalling the extension returns everything fast and responsive to the start of playnite, I notice that the program does not respond when it has slow start, it takes even 20/30 seconds some times, solutions?

I have the same problem sometimes. I noticed that when I'm completely offline (not connected to the internet via Ethernet or Wi-fi), playnite starts up almost instantly. So I suspect the slowdown is because the modifier extensions are checking for updates for the extensions themselves and the themes as well. It also depends on obviously your internet connection and also the number of extensions you have installed that will check for updates. So sometimes playnite starts up almost instantly because the connection speed is fast and sometimes it starts up slow because the connection speed is slow.

As for a solution, disconnecting Ethernet or Wi-fi when booting up playnite works, at least for me. You can connect again after playnite has started.
