-- Background Image --

To install open Windows Explorer and copy %APPDATA%\Playnite\Themes\Fullscreen into the navigation bar. Go into the folder for whatever version of PS5ish you have installed. Go into the Media folder and then copy in a jpg called background.jpg. It will then be used as the background for everything if Game Backgrounds are disabled.

-- Profile Picture, Background Music & Background Video --
There are now two ways of doing this depending on whether you have Extra Metadata Tools installed or not, please follow the relevant guide below.

-- WITHOUT Extra Metadata Tools --
The background video I have made myself, so it is not the PS5 one, I can't source that so I done the next best thing and made a similar one. I have made it in 4K (background_2160.mp4), 1080p (background_1080.mp4) and 21:9 Aspect Ratio (background_21-9.mp4) I am personally using background_1080.mp4 as its a smaller resource and looks the same quality wise.
To install open Windows Explorer and copy %APPDATA%\Playnite\Themes\Fullscreen into the navigation bar. Go into the folder for whatever version of PS5ish you have installed.
Go into the Media folder and then copy in background.mp3 for background music and either background_1080.mp4 or background_2160.mp4 for background video.
For Profile Picture you will see a few Profile Pictures in the Media folder, the one name ProfilePicture.png will be the one used, so you can rename another one to use one of them or add your own. It is recommended you use something that is the same resolution.

-- WITH Extra Metadata Tools --
Please scroll down to the section below called -- Extra Metadata Tools -- for all the information on this.

-- Extra Metadata Tools --
This Extension allows you to add Logo's for each game and not use the Icon's for Logo's like this theme currently does, Profile Picture, Background Music and Background Video. All media is retained in the Extra Metadata Tools folder so is not deleted upon theme updates.
You'll need to go to https://playnite.link/forum/thread-575.html and follow any instructions for installation of the plugin.

Once Installed you will then need to use the plugin to add Logo's to your games by right clicking them, like the screenshot below.

Please note that there is an option to convert your current Icon's to Logo's but this deletes them as Icon's. So you would need to add them all again as icon's if you wanted to uninstall this extension.

To add a Profile Picture, Background Music or a Background Video you'll need to right click any game and then add them like the screenshot below, you only need to add these once not for each game.

You should see a pop up like below when starting my theme for the first time with this extension installed, just click OK and restart Playnite and it will all be working. If you don't see this pop up please restart Playnite until you do.

If you want to go back to using the Icon's you will need to uninstall the extension and re-install my theme.

-- SuccessStory Integration --
[Image: NnWFIgG.png]

For Trophy's Earned to show you need to install the latest version of SuccessStory which can be found here: https://playnite.link/forum/thread-275.html

Once installed in Desktop Mode you need to go to Settings, Plugins and then SuccessStory. On the Appearance tab you need to turn on Enable custom theme integration (Only if integrated in custom theme), see screenshot below:

-- HowLongToBeat --
For HowLongToBeat integration you will need to go to https://playnite.link/forum/thread-309.html and follow any instructions for installation of the plugin.
Once Installed you will then see new information in the Game Details page if the game has any data.

-- Turning Things On and Off and Changing Labels --
Can all now be done use the DKG Theme Modifier Extension found here: https://playnite.link/forum/thread-665.html

-- Tutorial - Quick Guide To Add Images --
This is a quick guide to adding images more easily for this theme.
For Icons click the "G" in the Icons section below, then after the word "icon" add site:steamgriddb.com like below, you can then select an icon you like.

For Cover Images click the "G" like below, then replace the word "cover" with imagesize:1024x1024 site:store.playstation.com like below. This will find images only from the Playstation Store, you can remove site:store.playstation.com if you don't want images just from there.

For Background Images click the "G" like below, then replace the word "wallpaper" with imagesize:3840x2160 site:store.playstation.com like below. This will find images only from the Playstation Store, you can remove site:store.playstation.com if you don't want images just from there.

For any of the imagesize: bits you can add your own resolutions. Hopefully this guide helps.

This is an awesome recreation of the PS5 UI! Only problem is, it doesn't work well with anything but square covers. Would it be possible for you to make a version for tall covers? Like the Steam covers that come in 600x900. Since a lot of people use tall covers.

I'll certainly look into it and see if I can get it working properly.

I have a problem with this theme...

You see, I like this theme too much, and that's a problem.
Why is that a problem?
Because I have over 700 games...
I have already re-done too many of the art images to adjust to the theme's specs...

I hate that I am so deeply in love with this theme!
Absolutely an amazing job!

If I could think of any improvements all I can think of is: instead of showing which platform the game is on, perhaps show how many achievements? If that's possible ofcourse.

I can't think of anything else, this is just such an amazing theme

I did the whole procedure, but my images are cut off, what am I doing wrong? just remembering that the images are in the same standard size 1024x1024, 800x800 etc.

Holy heck! You've done a good job as well! Is there a way we can all contribute? Like a giant folder with all the games that have been fixed for this theme? I'd love to share what I've done so far, and if others do the same then we don't all have to do the same thing. If that makes sense. I like your detroit become human photo better than mine

I've found most of my boxarts from playstation.store and the wallpapers are just randoms that I find on google.

Also the png logos come from https://www.steamgriddb.com/

Glad you're enjoying the theme! Your Library is looking great! Thanks for the feedback. There is and extension called SuccessStory in the forums that pulls achievement information. I don't know whether I could pull information from that into my theme. I'll look into it.

The link you have sent doesn't go to anything for me. Usually the reason the image is cut off is either the image is not square or you have not changed the Grid View to be 1:1.

Ahh OK I see now, you missed the step to change the columns to 12, it's the only way to have the games the right size unfortunately. The step is:
"To get the theme to work correctly you'll need to have the settings like mine. But you'll need to edit your "fullscreenConfig.json" to have 12 Columns. It is located in: %APPDATA%\Playnite for windows. Just open it with a notepad editor."

Hope this sorts your issue.

The Portrait Covers version of the theme should work with Steam Covers. Let me know how you get on.

I managed, the problem is that I edited the columns and saved the file, but when I entered the application, it went back to 10, but I managed to solve it and save it in 12 columns, thank you very much.

Seeing I only got Playnite last night, and I see some having issues with the image resolutions, here are 20 games done manually.
People can use it as templates if they want, everything is labeled correctly, all they have to do is just replace their existing images with these

PACK UPDATE 107 games now supported:

PACK UPDATE! 107 games/apps supported for this skin.
Attachment shows the games/apps in question. Works perfect for this skin :3

Maybe we should do something with the square banners, I'm trying to launch it here : https://playnite.link/forum/thread-454.html

To the creator of the skin : thanks, it's wonderful. But I'm having the problem of the cut covers too, even though I edited the number of columns to 12 in the json file...

Send me a screenshot and I'll try and figure it out. With regards to square covers I've just been using the Playstation store or Microsoft store. I'll add a tutorial of how to get them to help people. But yes, having a proper collection of them in one place would be great! Or an extension to playnite that would scrap for square covers in the meta data.

People can use it as templates if they want, everything is labeled correctly, all they have to do is just replace their existing images with these.

Pack 1 contains:

- A Way Out
- Among Us
- Beyond Two Souls
- Castle Crashers
- City Game Studio
- Control
- Controller Companion
- Democracy 4
- Detroit Become Human
- Film Maker Tycoon
- Hades
- Horizon Zero Dawn
- Netflix
- Plex
- Paladins
- Rocket League
- Sands of Salzaar
- This War of Mine
- Visual Novel Maker
- Wallpaper Engine

The reason I only put 20 in the pack is because I honestly don't want to overstep. But I have more if people do want more.
Just want to help out :3

Great effort with these and feel free to upload more. I have added a guide to grab images more easily so hopefully this helps everyone, they can choose how to get their images that way.
