Hello,
I know that playnite normally launches steam games through steam's api. I am interested in launching steam games by path to exe instead. I am able to do this manually, but I am looking for a hands off approach. When I use playnite to setup an exe up for launching a game, I noticed that playnite takes me to the folder of the exe of the the game; then I manually select the exe. So it seems that playnite knows where the exe of a steam game is located. Is there a way to have playnite automatically select steam game exes (perhaps through playnite's api using scripting)? I've briefly skimmed playnite's api documentation, but I have not been able to find what I am looking for. If anyone can point me in the right direction, it will be greatly appreciated.
