Starting platform

Hello,im new to forums and playnite aswell,so im gonna have a question i hope some good soul will answer.How do i set starting platform?Whenever i start playnite it allways starts with ALL platforms/games,would it be possible to set it to start with specific platform?thank you in advance.

Hi, select platform on filter panel. Filters are saved when application is shutdown.

Ah, at first I thought I had the same problem. But my filters are in fact saved when I restart Playnite.

But when I use the explorer panel, the filter is not remembered. I think that is what RottenRotz means. He mentions 'platform' after all, which is explicitly a filter option in the explorer panel and NOT in the filter panel.

Personally I prefer the explorer panel over the filter panel, because you can switch platform/category/filter with a single click, no need to scroll though a list and mark check-boxes. I like it very much.

Is it intentional that the explorer panel doesn't remember the chosen filter with each restart? If so could this be changed perhaps with an option?

It's not intentional. The only thing that Explorer panel does, is that it sets the filter based on what you select. Which should be saved during app shutdown.

Hmm, well no matter what I do, Explorer panel filters are never saved for me, it always defaults back to 'All' when Playnite is restarted. When I use Filter panel it does save its filter with each restart, though.

I'm using the latest portable version of Playnite, not sure if this make a difference?
