I mean the question is probably yes, if you want to figure out how to set it up, but I'm curious as to whether anyone uses it to also catalog games that they play on other platforms (not-emulated).

Well yes, it's very easy to do so if you have a list of game titles - simply import the list and configure the metadata download to the best sources for that platform. It's not quite the same, but I import all of the games available on EA Play and Xbox Game Pass so they appear in my Playnite library (so when debating what to play next I have everything visible in one place)>

You can manually add any game(s).

As others have said, yes but it is primarily accomplished through manual work. I keep track of my PS4 games in Playnite. Though my primary goal is to give myself less work to do in the future when PS4 is emulated. The games, the metadata, the artwork, and the completion status will already be in place; all I'll have to do is mass edit the Play Action and Installation Directory and then unhide the games. So in a roundabout way it still comes around to emulation for me

Forgot to say that in order to add a list of games (just from a list of their titles) then you need the 'Simple Game Importer' add on - otherwise, you can only add them manually one at a time without it.
