I have been unable to authenticate my PlayStation account for connection in the Playnite client. I am experiencing two problems, one which is blocking.
The first issue is that the initial password login always fails and says that the login details are incorrect ("The sign-in ID (email address) or password is not correct."), even though they are not (I am copying them from a password manager). It always works on the second try.
The second, blocking, issue is that mutifactor authentication seems to fail after entering the code. The appropriate web UI is shown from Sony, and when I used SMS activation it did indeed send me an SMS code, but upon entering it the code it says "The connection to the server timed out.". In the last few days I changed my multifactor to use an Authenticator app, and trying again today it does indeed show the appropriate UI telling me to open my app, but displays the same timeout error on entering the code. Is this a known issue? Could someone verify if it works for them?
