I'll try to describe in the best way I can what's my problem and what I want to do, because i'm not very fluent in english.
A lot of classic games are imported with the rom name, and these usually have " - " instead of ": ", and games preceded with "The" removed them from the start of the name to the end with a comma, like ", the", or in the middle in the same way before the game subtitle. This is a commongnaming standard, but found it have some problems when you want to do some things in Playnite.
Igdb can fix the game names when you download metadata from it, but only per game, not in bulk. Also, other extensions like HowLongToBeat needs to have the sanitized name fixed to be able to find the game in it's database. Sometimes Success Story needs it too. This makes getting some data for those games really time consuming, because you have to search for those games, and fix the game one by one to make Igdb and other extensions find it. In the case of NES romset, for example, those are hundreds of games.
I want to sanitize those games names in bulk, changing " - " to ": " and moving ", the" to the start of the name. Anyone knows a way to do that?
Thanks, and sorry for my english.
