This plugin is one of the reasons why I keep using Playnite 8. It is the best metadata plugin for old games.

You need to go back to Playnite 8 in order to use this plugin, but you will cut yourself off many improvements and quality of life stuff introduced in 9.

This metadata plugin is just for importing metadata and covers , not the library data itself.

Perhaps somebody knowledgable would fork this and update it for Playnite 9?

Do you have any future plans for this plugin? Could box back cover be added as an option for background art? I would prefer this for old console games or if no "Fanart - Background" is available.
