I just noticed the background images on a surprising amount of my games have gone missing since I updated to Playnite 9.
They are not present in the metadata folders in my last Playnite 8.x backup — and if I'm correct, all the missing backgrounds were ones that had been loaded in via URL — I'm guessing for whatever reason doing this didn't save them and instead loaded from the remote server and all of those URLs got lost upon upgrade.
I backed up the entire application data folder before updating. Is there a chance that it had been saved in a place other than \library\files\ or am I out of luck?
EDIT: I think I might have found a solution - the game jsons in my 8.x backup files list the URL for the background image!
