This extension is a tool for testing images in Playnite. (I haven't used Playnite 9 but if it stores the images within the db files then you shouldn't use this tool on 9)
The tool gives you the following options:
You will be warned about the running time when you start the test and given the option to cancel.
The tool gives you the following options:
- Checks all games in the database that have any media (i.e. covers/icons/backgrounds) and verifies each image exists. (Broken links will be written to the Playnite log)
- As above except for platforms instead of games.
- The last option takes the opposite approach to the above 2. Instead of checking that Playnite has the images, this one checks that every file appears in Playnite. (i.e. if it doesn't appear in Playnite then the image is unlinked and is bloating your database) It works by checking every file in your files folder (in the Playnite 8 database location) against Playnite to see if there are any files that do not have an image link on any game or platform in Playnite. Any unlinked file will be moved to the ExtensionsData folder.
You will be warned about the running time when you start the test and given the option to cancel.
